			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">The Regional Health &amp; Safety Advisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing regional activities with respect to Health and Safety including tracking, reporting, auditing, and training. The region includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Interface with Regional and Area Managers in all Health and Safety issue;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Coordinate safety audits at various sites within the region on a monthly basis.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Includes scheduling, tracking, reporting and other administrative activities;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Work with the Area Managers within the region to develop a means to accomplish the various deficiencies noted during the audits;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Where possible, develop and prepare any proposals needed in relation to safety audits as well as safety items in general;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In conjunction with Area Managers within the region, prepare capitol safety requests for the various locations insuring that each facility is equipped with the proper safety equipment; Insure that each facility is OSHA compliant and is maintaining the proper documentation in relation to OSHA regulations;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Insure confined space and lock out tag-out programs are being followed and implemented correctly;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Insure that all STS safety policies are correctly implemented and followed;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Work with the regional Area Managers to prepare and update required safety plans and reports;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Track Health and Safety activities and reports and ensure that they are completed and submitted in a timely manner;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Coordinate the preparation and updating of site-specific health and safety manuals and spill plans;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Coordinate new employee safety orientations;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Coordinate, train, and lead safety teams;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Assist in the development of Business Risk Management Systems, Job Safety Audits and safety related standard operating procedures;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Coordinate monthly safety meeting at all locations within the region utilizing the corporate training schedule, preparing and incorporating power point presentations, instructional videos and other training methods;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Provide the regional with CPR, first aid, hazardous communication, and respirator training as well as completing the training as needed;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Establish fit test and physical requirements of the program;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Develop and implement defensive driving program to try and reduce vehicle insurance costs;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Procure certification credit approval for safety courses where possible;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Run yearly safety drills;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Other duties may be assigned</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Associate&#8217;s Degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of experience in safety such as industrial hygienist or an equivalent combination of education and experience;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Strong organizational skills;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Demonstrated effective communication skills both oral and written;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Proficiency in the use of personal computers;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. CPR First Aid.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Valid driver&#8217;s license</p>
