PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The FS Global Industry Lead will be responsible for driving the industry orientation within Field Services. The main objectives are to:

  • Drive Industry Revenue growth, Market Share and Utilization
  • Drive transformation of skills from product to (industry) process knowledge.
  • Create stronger alignment between Field Services, Industry Solutions and GFO Industry GTM
  • Ensure that Field Services has an early and structured engagement with Development/Industry Solution Management in order to have sufficient skilled resources at the right place to support new product launches
  • Manage the consistent global establishment and roll-out of the FS-RIL operational framework
  • The organisation consists of two layers, the FS Global Industry Lead (FS-GIL) and the FS Regional Industry Leads (FS-RILs).
  • Global layer – composed of the FS Global Industry Lead who reports to the Global Head of FSS Consulting Delivery as well as the Global Industry Lead (GIL). He/she will be accountable for (in alignment with the GIL) defining the FS Industry Strategy, Business Plans and Targets as for establishing and managing an FS Industry LT.
  • Regional layer – composed of the FS Regional Industry Leads (FS-RILs) who report to the Global FS Industry Lead (FS-GIL) and to the respective Regional FS Head or Head of FS Delivery organization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The FS Global Industry Lead (FS GIL) is responsible for the consistent establishment, rollout and success of the FS industry operational framework.
He co-ordinates the FS industry practices and industry hubs with regard to their alignment with the corporate set-up and stakeholders. She/he is responsible for the services revenue growth in target industries, the development of sufficient industry focused business process skills, the utilization of industry focused FS consulting resources, as well as customer satisfaction. He/she co-ordinates the industry related activities around the creation and management of service offerings, the creation and sharing of knowledge, as well as the planning and management of the WF on a global level.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Proven delivery and GTM experience in (industry) consulting organizations
  • Relevant management experience with at least 10+ years in the IT or Services industry

TRAVEL
Travel: 60-80% of the time.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Solid business process knowledge in at least one mayor industry or sector.
  • Be a Leader able to develop strong visions and deliver upon them by driving the required change
  • Be a Team Player, who feels comfortable with creating success in an international environment (including virtual teams) and also cross-LoB
  • Have a proven track record of strong networking and outstanding customer relationship management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, C-level exposure
  • Fluent English is a given, other languages a plus
